‘Round Here…….

24 Oct

Previously in South Africa, Julius Malema used to head the ANC Youth League, but behaved so badly he got thrown out. He has now started a new party in direct opposition to the ANC called the Economic Freedom Fighters – EFF for short.

He says many things, which of course WE all take out of context, because after all he’s a ‘man of the people’.

When he belonged to the ANC he used to sing ‘Kill the Boer’ songs along with Zuma. They claimed that they weren’t encouraging violence against the whites, just singing their old struggle songs while remembering the past.

Julius, now after just a few short months of EFF – f-ing has already got thousands of followers who are dirt poor but are somehow still spending great globs of money on ‘killing banners’.

The EFF of course says that the banners don’t promote the killing of the whites but rather equality. ( It should be said that one of the banners read ‘Kill them like they killed us’, but the EFF said that wasn’t a sanctioned banner….)

Malema constantly screams about white owned business and land. He wants it taken from the whites and given back to the people. He also says denies advocating violence against the whites.

It’s all very confusing.

His followers however, don’t seem to be hazy on the message. To them it seems clear – kill the whites, grab the land. What they don’t realise of course is that if there is land re-distribution it will be bought by the wealthy black man, not handed out freely to the poor. The whites may be forced to sell at reduced prices but the poor people are still not going to get their hands on it.

The desperate masses are still going to do all the dirty work for unscrupulous politicians who promise them the world. They are still going to be cold and hungry when those same politicians shake the hands of the Black diamond businessmen who will eventually own everything in this little piece of Africa.

It’s truly EFF – ing sad and if it gets any worse it may be truly EFF – ing deadly……

A correction, if I may, forestscribe. Malema’s former ANC-Youth league is hellbent on making the Western Cape ungovernable, not necessarily handing it over to their bosses to be governed. In the greater scheme of things, Susan, an independent Cape would not be viable. Yet. The DA is at the right point in their road to Damascus and if they can stop replicating the ANC with their infighting and schizophrenic style of rule, they could yet win 3 more provinces, yes 3 more. Northern Cape, Eastern Cape and Gauteng. However, for a constitutional democracy to work in this country (after rejecting the IFP’s idea of a federal democracy along the lines of the USA and Germany back in the ’90’s), both the DA and Agang need to embrace one another. I’ll by you a chocolate if you are able to guesss who is my for president. Well, at least, let’s wait until I can get an EFF-ing job.

Thanks for your comments. Correction accepted, though in my defense I only like to bash one party at a time – will pour my wrath on the ancyl later! I can’t actually think of a party I presently admire, the behaviour of the DA has been positively feral at times – they have definately degenerated into a bunch of mud slinging gossipers. With so much art, intellect and passion in this country I am desperately sad at the state we’re all in!

Too true. I agree with you there. Note, though, that my ‘correction’ jibe was meant as a slightly satirically taunt in the spirit of politician’s rhetoric (as opposed to speaking truthfully and delivering faithfully).

I have decided to write to the department of arts and culture, also in the hope of gaining meaningful employment in order to feed my large, greedy family, and ask them to draft a white paper (or should that be green paper, black paper, toilet paper? Anyway) to declare another public holiday: June 25 as National Excrement Flinging Day in commemoration of the brave rablerousers heroism in fighting for the right to crap where you please and how you please. Significantly, this day also falls on the birthday of an insignificant and confused bum masquerading as a writer. Thanks for supporting my last post on thinking…or not.

Well, if you consider the expletives, you’d wonder whether we all had a fetish for poo. What the ANCYL dumpers don’t realise (are they really that stupid!!) is that they can call up some wonderful sites dedicated to such activities all from their ‘smart’ phone, there’s a misnomer, if ever there was one. Off subject, back to Malema. I am of the view that while many men and women who call themselves analysts, the ANC and business should be quite wary of EFF, if they aren’t already. Certainly, political analysts on the whole don’t appear to bee overtly concerned, but I do believe we should be vigilant, or else just pack up and leave. Well, you already have a destination.

I agree the youth are flocking in droves to join them, nothing like rebellion to interest the youngsters

I’m praying that South Africa is too far advanced to allow him to lead this country to ruin. What I’m very concerned about however, is that he will have many, many uneducated and unemployed followers with nothing to loose…recipe for disaster, God help us!

And that’s why the masses believe the lies, they are neglected and desperate. The whites being dogs were bad enough, but being robbed and enslaved with poverty by their own people is far worse!

Just look at Zimbabwe- killed the white farmers, gave Mugabe’s allies their land but they could not farm, so people are starving….. What a bloody shower . How’s about independence for the Cape? There’s an idea. You have democratic alliance and even though ANC sent thousands of supporters in…. You voted for a woman again. Time for Steve Biko’s widow amazing speaker to launch own party. She says ANC KAPUT, finite with corruption. X

The sad thing is that the elders who suffered and sacrificed to end apartheid didn’t do it so the country could fall into anarchy. These young upstarts are making the pain they endured meaningless because killing will impoverish this country and cause the poor to suffer more than ever before. Steve Biko’s widow and so many others were motivated by love, these fools are all about greed! And cape town will never be allowed to become independent-the anc is too determined to eventually control it!
